About the Founders:
Akshay Shekhar is the Co-founder and CEO of Kazam, where he leads the mission to build the energy and charging infrastructure for electric mobility. With a background in engineering and entrepreneurship, he has scaled Kazam into one of India’s leading EV charging networks, driving innovation across hardware, software, and grid-connected energy systems.
Vaibhav Tyagi co-founded Kazam in 2020 and leads the company’s technical vision. An alumnus of XLRI Jamshedpur, he specializes in applying AI and machine learning to optimize EV charging platforms. His expertise spans renewable energy, IoT, and blockchain, which he leverages to build the intelligent infrastructure powering the future of sustainable mobility.
Paras Shah is a Mumbai-based Chartered Accountant and seasoned finance leader who specializes in driving business transformations that balance growth with operational efficiency. With over seven years of experience leading finance for a fintech startup, he excels at automating processes and building resilient, compliant systems. Paras bridges finance, technology, and strategy to help businesses scale sustainably and achieve strong performance outcomes.
