Vishal grew up watching promising businesses across Bihar struggle, not from a lack of vision, but because capital never showed up for them. That gap is what pulled him from building companies to backing them.

He founded and ran three ventures on the ground before moving to the investing side, and both taught him the same lesson from opposite ends: founders solving real problems for underserved communities don't fail for lack of vision, they fail for lack of someone willing to back them through the uncertainty.

That's what pulled him to the investing side, first at Karekeba Ventures, then at Tier Two Capital, backing founders in tier-2 and tier-3 geographies.

He holds an MSc in Finance from EADA Business School, Barcelona, and a Bachelor's in Business Administration from Nalanda Open University.
