Farmology is a technology-enabled integrated crop advisory solution that assists farmers to diagnose and treat crop issues. Farmers get real-time advisory and custom selection of organic inputs that are manufactured in-house. The Farmology app also allows other input players to list and sell their products, such as seeds, fertilizers, pesticide, and more.
They operate a hybrid model with an on-ground team and localised distribution network of micro-franchises, or “Agripreneurs,” to reach tech-averse farmers, which enables them to reach a large number of farmers. Farmology operates in West Bengal, Uttar Pradesh and Odisha. Operations include a call center to manage inbound and outbound enquiries and district hubs for retail inputs.

About the Founders:
Anup Ganguly started his career as a hardcore sales professional in the FMCG industry. With 8 years of experience in sales and working in 4 different industries, he gained a very rich experience in handling businesses, clients accumen and marketing. He holds MBA in Marketing from Christ University, MBA in International Business from Technical University of Applied Sciences Würzburg-Schweinfurt and B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering from MIET.
Akash Chandrakar is a technopreneur with extensive experience in AgriTech, FMCG, IT, eCommerce, Pharma, and Healthcare. Holding a B.Tech in Information Technology from the College of Engineering & Technology, Bhubaneswar, he has held key roles at Mac Technology Services, Infosys Technologies, and Unilever, and served as a Board Member at Impez LLC. Currently, he is the Co-founder of Farmology, a tech platform designed to support farmers throughout their farming journey.
